Surfside Jetty
Brazoria County Parks
Department opened "Surfside Jetty County
Park" to the public in December 1993.
The park is open daily and it has been a
very popular destination for many
visitors from Brazoria and surrounding
counties. Fronting the Gulf of
Mexico this park is uniquely located at
the jetties on the south end of CR 257 (Bluewater
Hwy) in Surfside Texas. Entrance
to this day-use park is free. This
beach park has many features to
offer...such as a playground area,
restrooms, convenience store, picnic
tables, volleyball courts, fishing from
a mile long jetty, surfing, and breathe
taking views of the intracoastal
waterway. So, bring your family,
fishing poles, a picnic lunch & enjoy a
relaxing day at the park. If
cooking outdoors is a favorite, you may
just want to use one of many individual
covered picnic tables & barbeque grills
that are available throughout the park.
So if you haven't been to your
parks lately...come on by & see what
you've been missing!!
